The 2014 camp was held June 2-13, at the Zuver Center of Mount de Sales Academy in Macon. Thanks to a generous donation from the Knight Foundation, we were able to increase the camp from five to 10 days. This year we had workshops and presentations from Peniece LeGall, Stefan Billups, Al McLean (President of Kobalt Publishing), Aiyisha Obafemi (Chief Operations Officer/Director of Marketing at Disturbing Tha Peace Records), Ben H. Allen (producer for Gnarls Barkley and more) and Steve Moretti (Grammy-wining drummer), as well as recording sessions with sons of Otis Redding, Dexter and Otis Redding, III.
